Application periodApplication will be open from 01 February 2010 until the 15 Mai 2010. Application ProcedurePlease apply only online. The online form will be only available during the application period. Read these instructions carefully before you apply. If you have any questions regarding the requirements or the application procedure please do not hesitate to contact the coordinator. This will avoid your application being rejected simply because you did not follow the required procedure. Available Places 20 national and international participants from outside Berlin or Germany will be accepted for participation in the BSRT summer school. 15 travel grants are available for international students who are not residents in Germany. In order to promote women’s advancement in science another 3 travel grants will be given to female students of material and engineering sciences who study in Germany. 2 places are available for students who study in Germany and who have their own funding for the travel and accommodation expenses. Requirements for the admission to the PhD program The BSRT invites applications from students with a Bachelor or Master degree in biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, bioinformatics, engineering, physics, chemistry or medicine. Students with a Bachelor degree should be advanced level who carry out their Masters thesis and students with a Master degree should have recently graduated. Applicants should have a keen an interest in regenerative medicine and seek a career in related research fields. Priority will be given to students who have not yet started their PhD to those who are further advanced and already began their PhD project.
