The BSRT summer school provides insights for international graduated students (Bachelors or Masters) into the most important aspects of current research and developments in the field of regenerative medicine. The main topics will deal with regeneration and treatment of diseases of the immune system, the heart and the musculoskeletal system. Students will be introduced to medical and biological topics as well as aspects of material sciences and engineering. They will learn about state-of-the art techniques and therapies used in regenerative medicine and gain insights into the long process from bench to bedside.

The BSRT summer school will provide lectures, seminars and practical courses which will be given by the BSRT faculty and selected international guest speakers who are all recognised experts in their field. The participants will also be introduced to the exciting scientific landscape in Berlin and Brandenburg with many international renowned research institutions. An extended cultural program will give insights to the cosmopolitan life and entertainment Berlin and Potsdam.
