The fee for the summer school will be € 100 for each participant. Bank account details will be provided for participants who have been accepted.

Travel Grant for International Students

The BSRT will provide 15 travel grants for international students who are not residents in Germany. The travel grants are funded by the DAAD. All decisions concerning the stipends will be in the responsibility of the BSRT so applicants shall not contact the DAAD in these matters. The grants will cover the costs for traveling to Berlin and accommodation including breakfast. The travel expenses will be refunded after participation in the  BSRT Summer School up to the maximum cost allowance for each country. The application form for the summer school will provide extra fields to apply for this travel grant.

Travel Grant for Women Studying Material and Engineering Sciences

In order to promote women’s advancement in the material and engineering sciences the BSRT awards 3 extra travel grants to female students in Germany who are not eligible for the DAAD funded travel grant. Female students with a Bachelor or Master degree in (bio-)engineering, (bio-)informatics, physics, chemistry or material sciences can apply for the travel grant. The grants will cover the costs for traveling to Berlin and accommodation including breakfast. The travel expenses will be refunded after participation in the  BSRT Summer School. The application form for the summer school will provide extra fields to apply for this travel grant.
